The Thorn at Buell Theatre

This amazing performance started off as just a small time play created by John and Sarah Bolin along side the members and crew of their youth group back in 1996. What once was a small performance now turned to one of the most sought out and seen Play of all time. Quickly outgrowing their minor auditorium and moving to new stages and settings, each bigger than the last.

Soon the show had reached its peak, with over 200 plus actors, an amazing team for make up and visual effects as well as an award winning musical team that compliments the entire story with its symphonic melodies. The show took to the road for future performances and was followed by thousands of dedicated fans and supporters. Selling out every show that they put on and gaining vast attention from millions more across the world in every direction. Unfortunately due to covid-19, the group was no longer allowed to continue with their tour and thus had to remain away from their calling indefinitely. But this did not stop them from spreading their message, The members continued to meet and eventually made The Thorn into a digital film both on DVD and streaming sites for all to see.

Upon release of their DVD, stores just couldn't keep up with sales and renting, everyone wanted to see this amazing show for themselves. After a few years and covid restrictions being lifted, the group was all awaiting the moment for them to get back on the road and perform like never before. Ladies and Gents, not only did they return, but they made it a statement with their first re appearance having even more effects, more music and more actors, anything to increase the already immersive show to the max.
