Ben Schwartz is an American actor and comedian, best known for his recurring role as 'Jean Ralphio Saperstein' on the NBC sit com "Parks and Recreation" and being the voice actor of Sonic in the film "Sonic The Hedgehog". Ben has shown at every turn just how much he loves the comedy industry, and that its his dream as well as his passion to become one of the best comics of the 21st century.
Schwartz had his very own segment on HBO's 'Funny or Die Presents' called "Terrible Decisions" and has appeared in multiple 'CollegeHumor' sketches including the popular web series "Jake and Amir". Schwartz has also been nominated for four Emmy's and won the 2009 Emmy award for Outstanding Original Music and lyrics for coauthoring Hugh Jackman's opening number for the 81st Academy Awards. In September of 2019 he was hired by Paramount Pictures to re-make the 1991 comedy Soapdish, Re-titled El Fuego Caliente and reworking the original American soap opera.
From starting his career as an improv and sketch performer at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, he created the website RejectedJokes.com to highlight his short films and writing. Which was his first step in to media platforms. From then on , not only has he been active on movies and live on stage, but has also maintained a constant media presence over various platforms whilst growing his fan base even more. Notably his 33 thousand subscribers on YouTube with some of his videos reaching millions of views, His Follower count on Instagram reaching over a Million and being verified, and finally his five hundred and ninety four thousand followers on TikTok which has accumulated over 7 million likes on this platform alone with countless other re-releases from his fans across all these platforms.
