Lin-Manuel Miranda wrote Hamilton in order to convey the story of "America then, as told by America now". Hamilton delivers on this goal by casting minorities to play the Founding Fathers such as George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Alexander Hamilton. Trey Curtis, Jared Dixon, Tamar Greene, and Stephanie Jae Park are just some of numerous minority actors who currently star in Hamilton.
